Description
Looking for an experienced candidate who has worked on Finance Reporting Automation using Oracle tools and also having experience in Actuals and Forecast reporting. Candidate must have an understanding of business requirements and perform analytical activities which would help improve the business through value added analysis. Must have an eye for detailing and will be given complete ownership of the activity.
Job Description
> Resource should have experience in Reporting Automation and Analytics
> Should have performed analytical and automation projects supporting business requirements and working closely with technical teams
> He/she will be working closely with the Process owner, Business and Technical teams in this role, hence should have an eye for detailing and be able to drive the change management with high focus on Timeliness, Accuracy & Efficiency
> Provide support to Business and Finance teams through detailed research and analysis including detailed financial analysis
> Drive to facilitate decision making and support future business strategies
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
> Understanding the Actuals and working with Business team to prepare a project plan for Automation
> Deep dive analysis on multiple reports - prepare recommendations based on analysis
> Supporting Finance Team with complex analysis
> Willingness to learn systems & tools, perform UAT's (User Acceptance Test) and make sure systems are giving the expected financial numbers
> Take initiatives on projects, ownership and drive the calls / meetings
> Analyze complex reporting and provide an executive summary which could help improve business
> Present KPIs to management / stakeholders
> Demonstrate advanced knowledge of corporate processes like understanding KPI's in details, Actuals submission, Restatement process etc.
> Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide solutions to management
> Review and sign off process checklist / operating procedures including any latest updates
Additional Responsibilities For Lead Analyst
> Plan for quarter-end & year-end close workload
> Perform scenario building to enable decision making
> Own couple of Automation Projects
> Lead projects under regular reviews and guidance
> Propose proactive course corrections
> Train junior members on Oracle systems/tools and hierarchies, support trainings
> Conduct root cause analysis on key issues and provide solutions for the same
> Ensure all the project mile stones are met by the team
Qualification: B.COM / MBA / CA Inter / CA Qualified with a minimum experience of 3-5+ years in Financial Reporting
