About the Role

You will be required to manage day-to-day finance operations, reporting, and compliance across multiple entities. This role blendsfinancial management (70%) with business support (30%), ensuring smooth cash flow, accurate MIS reporting, vendor coordination, and legal documentation. Ideal for someone hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a fast-paced startup environment.

Business Finance (70%)

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reconciliations
  • Prepare and update MIS reports, financial dashboards, and monthly summaries
  • Supervise day-to-day accounting, invoicing, expense tracking, and payments of multiple entities in different jurisdictions.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting by gathering and organizing financial data
  • Assist in cash flow tracking and monitoring of working capital requirements
  • Coordinate with external accountants/auditors for statutory compliance and filings
  • Ensure timely vendor and employee reimbursements
  • Support tax, compliance, and statutory reporting requirements
  • Assist in Interest optimization strategies.
  • Assist in Legal tasks - contract management and tracking, understanding and negotiating on contracts.
  • Assist in vendor coordination, contracts, and payment terms

Business Operations (30%)

  • Support internal teams with financial data required for decision-making
  • Ensure smooth documentation and record-keeping for audits and compliance checks
  • Identify areas for cost savings and process simplification in daily operations.
  • Assist Founders and staff in multiple operational requests
  • Tracking and managing critical tasks across organisation

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field. Masters in Finance or Legal will be a plus.
  • 3+ years of hands-on finance/accounting experience, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial documentation
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and working knowledge of accounting tools/software
  • Detail-oriented with strong numerical and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
