The Finance Manager for Accounts Receivable and Revenue will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the company's AR processes and revenue management. This role involves managing the AR team, ensuring timely collection of receivables, maintaining accurate financial records, and collaborating with other departments to support financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Collection mapping, invoicing, Accounting, and reporting for revenue.
- Reconciliation of books with Customer Financing Partners, accounting for associated costs.
- Prepare and monitor ageing report, manage collection to reduce overdues.
- Resolves disputes and discrepancies with customers and customer financing partners promptly and professionally.
- Develop and implement AR policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e. g., I-GAAP, IFRS, Ind-AS).
- Preparing necessary schedules for periodic GST-1 statutory filing.
- Follow the company's Internal controls and ensure they are operating effectively within the organisation.
- Support in statutory financial reporting, year-end Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, and Cost Audit.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for monthly handovers and follow-up on pending receivables.
- Assist the finance leadership on cost management and improving collections.
Requirements
- CA with prior experience of 2 to 5 years in a Finance Controllership role - with deep knowledge of Revenue recognition and account receivables management, and knowledge of Indian GAAP.
- Good knowledge of accounting software Tally, and Reconciliations of revenues.
- Strong in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Superior attention to detail with the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities.
