Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller for foreign subsidiaries of HP Inc to undertake all aspects of corporate accounting, taxation, regulatory and financial reporting, strong understanding of internal controls and compliance concepts. The Controller will work closely with critical stakeholders including Finance operations, Tax, Treasury and IT for operational matters and also to drive major projects in the Controllership and Compliance Domain. The candidate must have the experience of exercising independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate USGAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for local statutory audits, tax filings, transfer pricing and overall regulatory compliances of a legal entity.
- Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner, monitor progress and changes.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with stakeholders and business leaders to guide and influence decision-making.
- Support tax experts on litigations and tax assessments cases.
Education And Experience Required
- Chartered Accountant from India or Certified Public Accountant, US is MANDATORY.
- Typically, 4+ years of experience as a Finance Controller or Statutory Auditor.
- Experience from Big 4 will be an advantage.
