Job Purpose

The Finance Business Analyst will be a key member in our finance team, responsible for contributing to the successful implementation of Unify and leading efforts to optimize processes and workflows across the organization. This role requires an analytical thinker with strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.

About Group Finance

In joining RWS's Finance team you will be a critical part of supporting a listed world-leading provider of technology-enabled language, content, and intellectual property services. RWS has growing revenues of over 750m through a combination of value accretive acquisitions and organic growth. Group finance, led by our Group CFO; Candy Davies, includes diverse teams across the globe operating in functions including business partnering, operational finance, specialist, and group functions. Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • ERP Implementation
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture, analyse and document business and reporting requirements for Unify D365 implementation.
    • Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where existing processes may need to be adapted to align with D365's capabilities.
    • Lead the development and maintenance of Level 1 and 2 process maps, ensuring they accurately reflect business processes and are updated following design workshops.
    • Support creation of Level 3 process documentation to support process transparency and efficiency, providing detailed guidance and instructions for executing key processes.
    • Ensure all controls from processes are captured in the controls matrix, working closely with stakeholders to verify accuracy and completeness.
    • Planning and managing UAT and ensure requirements are tested, enhanced and delivered.
Process Analysis

  • Working with our Global Process Owners, drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, increase efficiency and enhance productivity.
  • Lead cross functional teams to analyze existing processes, identify pain points and develop solutions to address them.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and enhance productivity.
  • Partner with stakeholders across departments to gather feedback, validate proposed improvements, and ensure buy-in.
  • Track and measure the impact of process enhancements, including cost savings, time reduction, and quality improvement.
  • Continuously assess and refine processes to maintain optimal efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • BA Certification (BCS, IIBA, Process Improvement certification, Lean Six Sigma etc)
  • 2+ years of experience as a business analyst
  • Experience in delivering ERP implementation projects, preferably with experience working with D365 or similar systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving measurable results.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and excellence.
