Field Service Engineer

You will be working as a Field Service Engineer at Global Grade 14 and will be part of Motion Business Area in Raipur, India. In this role, you will be reporting to Service Team Leader and will be responsible for supporting customers, field installations, commissioning all related ABB products.

Your responsibilities

• Being a field service engineer for LV inverters range from 1 KW to 2 MW customers throughout the India
• Providing field service expertise, service execution and build relationships with users.
• Being the primary person to resolve inverter issues, hardware, firmware, application as needed
• Building customer confidence and ease customer experience by supporting Our Drives supplied
• Being the regional expert and execution lead for field service best-practices, customer delight and efficiency
• Collaborating with sales and services teams to build relationships and support new projects with customers
• Having knowledge on root cause of the problems etc.

Your background

• Minimum qualification of Diploma / Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Electronics
• 5 to 7 years of experience in industry services, commissioning, applications
• Experience executing field product performance field repair, maintenance, diagnostics and uptime
• Knowledge of Drives (DC , LV ,SPRS & Multicell) and technology
• .Knowledge with industry standards and codes (NEC, UL, IEEE, utility interactivity etc.)
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Outlook etc.
• Must be multiplexer, agile, speed and problem solving oriented, systematic, organized
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English language is must )
• Eager to travel regularly and with short notice for sake of customer satisfaction and field portfolio performance goals
