Are you a results-driven, energetic sales professional with a passion for premium, gourmet food products We are looking for a Field Sales Executive to be the face of our innovative dairy brand on the ground.
You will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence across retail and modern trade channels, and pioneering new avenues for product visibility and sales. This is a dynamic role for someone who is as comfortable closing a deal as they are creatively marketing products on a store shelf.
Key Responsibilities
- Store-to-Store Sales: Manage and nurture relationships with a portfolio of existing and potential retailers (general trade, modern trade, and HORECA).
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for our full range of products (Buttermilk, Milkshakes, Yogurts, Curd, Milk, etc.).
- Stock & Order Management: Ensure optimal product stocking, correct pricing, and timely order placement and delivery with distributors and retailers.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and new product launches, reporting key insights to the sales leadership team.
- Visual Merchandising: Execute high-impact in-store promotions, merchandising, and product displays that highlight our brand's premium, gourmet image.
- New Avenues Development: Proactively identify and secure non-traditional sales channels (e.g., corporate canteens, specialized gourmet stores, local events) to boost market share.
- Recipe & Product Promotion: Act as a brand ambassador, educating store owners and customers on our product's quality, protein content, and usage in healthy recipes.
- Feedback Loop: Gather qualitative feedback from the market on product acceptance, taste, and packaging to contribute to future product development.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of proven Field Sales experience, preferably in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), Food & Beverage, or Dairy.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a strong ability to build rapport quickly.
- A self-starter attitude with a high degree of ownership, resilience, and initiative.
- Deep understanding of the local retail and distribution landscape in the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in using sales tracking software/CRM and basic Microsoft Office tools.
- A Graduate degree in any discipline (BBA/B.Com preferred).
