The ideal candidate will be responsible to drive offline sales, build relationships with local partners, and promote our travel products face-to-face across assigned territories. This is a hands-on, target-driven role ideal for someone with proven experience in travel sales, local marketing, or tour operations. Commission-based agents with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Territory sales & Lead Generation
- Prospect, meet and convert walk-in and appointment customers, generate qualified leads through field activities.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities (corporate, schools, clubs, travel groups, influencers).
- B2B partner development: Build and maintain relationships with travel partners- hotels, tour operators, transport providers, local guides, corporate, travel desks, and event planners.
- Negotiate partnership offers and local promotional deals to increase margins and add value for customers.
- Retail and on-ground promotions
- Represent the brand at promotional events, travel fairs, exhibitions, and community activities.
- Run in-store promotions, road shows, and pop-up booths to drive bookings and brand awareness (If needed).
- Client servicing & pre/post-sales support
- Provide on-the-spot quotations, bookings, and accurate product information; follow up to ensure booking completion.
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, reservations, finance) to ensure smooth delivery and timely customer updates.
- Market research & reporting - Gather competitor intel, local market trends, and customer feedback; feed insights into product and pricing strategy.
- Maintain accurate daily/weekly sales reports, CRM updates, and activity logs.
- Targets & KPI management: Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets, conversion ratios, and partnership on boarding KPIs.
- Actively pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities (insurance, excursions, upgrades).
- Compliance & brand representation - Ensure all promotions comply with company policies and local regulations.
- Maintain professional brand representation and customer service standards.
Qualifications (Commission agents with equivalent experience are welcome.)
- Minimum 23 years of direct experience in travel sales, field marketing for travel/tour operators, airline/tour desk sales, or a similar customer-facing travel role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating leads in a territory-based role.
- Strong network of local B2B contacts (preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Comfortable with frequent local travel and working flexible hours (events/weekends as needed).
- Basic computer literacy: CRM, MS Office, mobile booking tools.
- Valid local ID and ability to work in the area assigned.
