Position : FACTORY LEAD

Location: Hyderabad (SHADNAGAR), Telangana, India

Experience: 3 + Years

Qualification: BE/B.Tech/ Diploma in MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Salary : 10.00 - 12.00 LPA

The Factory Lead will be responsible for the overall management of factory operations, fabrication, assembly, production planning, material management, and manpower utilization. The role serves as a critical link between Customers, PMO, Management, Factory Operations, and Project Delivery Teams, ensuring alignment between manufacturing activities, project schedules, customer expectations, and business objectives. The position requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and excellent stakeholder management skills to drive operational excellence and on-time project delivery.

Key Responsibilities - Customer, PMO, Management & Project Coordination :

  • Act as the primary communication bridge between Customers, PMO, Management, Factory Operations Team, and Project Delivery Team.
  • Coordinate production priorities in line with project schedules, site requirements, and customer commitments.
  • Provide accurate and timely updates on production progress, material status, resource allocation, and delivery schedules.
  • Participate in customer meetings, project review meetings, and management reviews.
  • Work closely with the Project Delivery Team to ensure manufacturing outputs align with site execution requirements and installation schedules.
  • Collaborate with the PMO to track project milestones, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Escalate critical issues proactively and drive cross-functional resolution.
  • Ensure effective communication between Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, Production, Stores, and Site Teams.

Factory Operations & Production Management :

  • Lead and manage day-to-day factory operations for fabrication and assembly activities.
  • Develop and implement production plans aligned with project schedules.
  • Monitor production targets, capacity utilization, and workflow efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.

Material Planning & Inventory Management :

  • Plan and monitor incoming raw materials, bought-out items, and consumables.
  • Coordinate with procurement and stores teams to ensure material availability.
  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize material utilization.

Manpower Managementn:

  • Manage and supervise fabrication, assembly, stores, and support personnel.
  • Allocate manpower effectively based on production priorities.
  • Conduct performance monitoring, training, and skill development.

Required Skills :

  • Strong knowledge of Fabrication, Assembly, and Manufacturing Processes.
  • Good understanding of MEP systems and installations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
  • Production Planning, Material Planning, and Resource Management expertise.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
