Traits
Adequate Knowledge of Manufacturing processes and basic materials typically required for Hydrocarbon / Chemical & Polymers / Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology / Energy / Mining & Minerals Projects. (FEG, MEG, PIPING, ELECTRICAL, INSTRUMENTATION ETC.)
Knowledge of major supplier for above material.
Very good written and verbal communication skill.
Interaction with external managements of Client / Suppliers / Consultants
Exposure to ISO Audits
Knowledge of Excel for making reports.
Knowledge of Power Point Presentation
Job Description
- Post order monitoring of Purchase Orders / Contracts for Projects executed by Company / POs placed by LSTK for critical items (In PMC role)
- Request for field expediting visits
- Adherence to Department / Discipline work instructions and QMS manual
- Monitor work hour consumption and work progress
- Working within company budgets
- Prepare and issue Material Status Reports (MSR) & Expediting Reports within reasonable time
- Anticipate and highlight potential delays by Supplier to Project Manager & Client (as required) on timely manner
- Committed for following Quality Policy & Core Values of Company.
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering
Experience of minimum 5 years preferably in PMC / EPC consultancy. At least 2.5 years in Post-Order management for supply of material or in medium / large scale manufacturing units. Both serving to industry sectors like Oil & Gas / Refining / Chemical & Polymers / Energy / Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology / Mining & Minerals etc.
Knowledge and qualification (PGDM / MMS) in Materials Management will be an added qualification.
Certified ISO Internal Auditor will also be an added qualification.
