Excavator Operator

Description

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator with 2-3 years of experience to join our construction team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of excavation processes, safety regulations, and the ability to operate heavy machinery efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to equipment maintenance and a commitment to high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators to dig, move, and grade earth and other materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely.
• Perform routine maintenance on excavators and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating heavy machinery.
• Collaborate with construction teams to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

Skills and Qualifications

• Valid excavator operator license or certification.
• Proficient in operating various types of excavators (mini, standard, long reach).
• Strong understanding of excavation techniques and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Physical fitness to operate heavy machinery for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
