TCS is hiring for Exadata Cloud Service (ExaCS) DBA
Location: PAN INDIA
Exp: 4 to 10 years
Job Description:
- Oracle Database Cloud (18c, 19c, 21c), Exadata / ExaCS, Autonomous database experience.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience of database infrastructure (backup/recovery using RMAN, Data Guard, high availability, Oracle RAC, SAN and Network).
- Strong understanding of hardware performance, memory and I/O.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with conducting SQL and DB performance tuning, scalability/capacity planning.
- Solid experience with SQL/PLSQL, UNIX shell scripting, Python or similar.
- Comfortable deploying and maintaining large scale database systems (perform audits, troubleshoot issues, apply patches, perform major upgrades).
- Good understanding and hands-on experience with deploying and maintaining Cloud database solutions - DbaaS and ExaCS in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud solutions/hosting providers like Azure or AWS.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, agile team environment.
- Ability to produce quality work on tight schedules.
- Ability to solve problems, make sound decisions and use good judgement.
- Must be able to provide on-call support on rotation schedule
