JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and execute NVH test for EV/HEV powertrains, including both unit and vehicle level to optimize its NVH performance.
Benchmark competitor EV/HEV units for their NVH performance and set targets for new units.
Root cause analysis of complex NVH issues associated with EV/HEV powertrains and propose countermeasures.
Analyze test data to arrive at key insights to assess product for their NVH performance.
Participate in setting up of new setups/facilities for EV/HEV unit NVH testing.
Collaborate with design, calibration, CAE engineers to optimize NVH performance of new units and for solving NVH issues in existing products.
Interact regularly with Market Quality, New development quality and Engineering Design Departments.
COMPETENCY REQUIRMENTS TECHNICAL /FUNCTIONAL
Related work experience in EV/HEV unit/vehicle level NVH testing.
Hands on experience in using sensors for NVH measurement (mic, accelerometer), current clamps, power analyzers and data loggers (e.g. LMS/Siemens, Dewesoft) for EV/HEV NVH testing.
Skills in using CONCERTO, INCA, MDA, CANoe, Siemens Test lab, PUMA, any test bench automation software.
Experience in operating Anechoic/Semi anechoic chambers for EV/HEV unit testing.
Strong Vibration and acoustic fundamentals.
Knowledge of EV/HEV system which includes electric motor, inverter, batteries, engines and gearbox/belt drives.
Valid Driving License and satisfactory driving record.
Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment as well as be self-motivated for independent work.
Flexibility in handling multiple projects and changing priorities.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile/Production/Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 60% marks
3-8 years of experience
