Job Description

GreenCell Mobility is seeking a skilled and experienced EV Electrical Engineer to play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our electric vehicle fleet. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the production, quality control, diagnosis, and repair of electric vehicles, leveraging expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems to maintain the efficient operation of our EVs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues within electric vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools, software, and testing equipment.
  • Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and hands-on repairs on electric vehicles, focusing on critical components such as batteries, motors, inverters, power electronics, and other high-voltage systems.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs to ensure the long-term efficient and safe operation of the EV fleet, minimizing downtime.
  • System Integration: Understand and contribute to the integration of various electrical components and subsystems within the EV architecture. (Inferred)
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities meet GreenCell Mobility's quality standards and safety protocols.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Relevant experience in the electrical engineering aspects of Electric Vehicles, including production, quality control, maintenance, or repair.
  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of EV high-voltage battery systems, electric motors, inverters, DC-DC converters, and charging systems.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software specific to electric vehicles.
  • Understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN).
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to safety procedures when working with high-voltage systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
