Job Description

Following are the details for the position of End User Services Helpdesk and Asset Management Support Engineer

Position: EUS HAM Support Engineer
Location: Bengaluru, India
Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech.
Relevant experience: 2.5 - 5 years

Essential Skills:

1. Strong knowledge of IT asset management practices, including hardware inventory, software licensing, and asset lifecycle management.
2. Proficiency in IT service desk tools and systems, including Service Now/ Remedy, for incident management and asset tracking.
3. Good understanding of ITSM processes. Any certifications (ITIL, CompTIA A+, or HDI Desktop Support Technician) in the area would be a plus.
4. Hands-on on Active Directory, MS Office 365.
5. Excellent communication and customer handling skills with exposure in handling global customers (EMEA/ AMERICAS).

Job Responsibilities:

1. Maintain the inventory of IT Assets (Desktops/laptops, servers, storages and network gears) and Software Licenses (Updating entitlement, software reconciliation, harvesting etc.) in CMDB.
2. Support procurement of assets.
3. Provide assistance in generating compliance reports for internal & external audits.
4. Generate asset tracking reports as needed by IT leadership including inventory reports of IT assets kept in stock.
5. Handle IT Asset requests and cater end-user requirement globally.
6. Provide level 1 remote desktop support and perform other activities based on SOPs. Perform user account management activities.
