ETL Business Analyst - Immediate Joiner

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced ETL Business Analyst with strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, data mapping, and SQL. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineering, and QA teams to gather requirements and translate them into clear functional and data requirements. The role involves analyzing source and target systems, preparing Source-to-Target Mapping documents, defining transformation rules, and supporting data validation and reconciliation. The candidate should have experience in data migration or data warehouse projects and be comfortable working in an Agile environment.

Experience

5–8 years of experience as an ETL Business Analyst, Data Business Analyst, or similar role.

Experience working on ETL, Data Warehouse, Data Migration, or Data Integration projects.

Mandatory Skills

Strong understanding of ETL processes and Data Warehousing concepts.

Excellent experience in Business and Data Requirements Gathering.

Strong knowledge of Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM).

Good understanding of data mapping, transformation rules, and data flows.

Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.

Experience with data reconciliation and validation.

Ability to create BRD/FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with ETL tools such as DataStage, Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar.

Knowledge of Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.

Experience with Azure, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or other cloud data platforms.

Experience in On-Premise to Cloud Data Migration projects.

Knowledge of Data Quality and Data Governance.

Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.
