Equity Research Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Equity Research Analyst with 2 5 years

of proven expertise in sector and stock research in the Indian Market. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth fundamental analysis, developing and maintaining

financial models, conducting channel checks, and producing sector reports and stock

recommendations that support investment decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze industries and companies in detail, tracking trends, policies, and performance drivers.

Build and maintain detailed financial models for earnings forecasting and valuation.

Conduct on-the-ground channel checks with suppliers, distributors, and industry experts.

Publish initiating coverage reports, sector notes, quarterly updates, and thematic research.

Develop actionable stock recommendations and share insights with clients and internal stakeholders.

Monitor macroeconomic, global, and policy factors affecting coverage sectors.

Requirements

2 5 years of prior experience in equity/sector research.

Qualification: CA, CFA, or MBA (Finance) from a premier institution.

Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.

Proficiency in research tools and financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Ace Equity, etc.).

Excellent analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills.

Demonstrated ability to conduct channel checks and derive actionable industry insights.

Sectors

Sector agnostic- Multiple sectors- BFSI, Healthcare, Capital Goods, Power,

Infrastructure, Technology, Consumer discretionary, etc. Each Analyst will cover 15-20

stocks in detail.
