Job Description

  • Responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and safety of our operations and Equipment.
  • Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, such as fixing electrical, electronics, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems Board level troubleshooting Components checking and repairing.
  • Assist in the setup and installation of new systems and equipment, as well as conduct preventive maintenance and inspections.
  • Perform manual repairs when necessary Include wiring, crimping, soldering etc Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
  • Assist in maintaining the tracker of calibration. Perform troubleshooting of the Equipment in electrical circuits, electronics, Vacuum, heat treatments, High Voltages, Knowledge on troubleshooting on electrical circuits, electronics, Vacuum, heat treatment, High Voltage, welding, Gas lines, etc
  • Knowledge on calibration of instruments and assist in performing Calibration activities for equipment
  • Prepare and maintain spare part list Equipment wise and maintain the stock up to date.
  • Follow Quality standards for Preventive Maintenance, Breakdowns MTBF, MTTR,Etc
  • Assist in marking layouts and providing suggestions and best practices according to industry standards.

Maintenance Technician Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role
  • Basic understanding of electrical, Electronics, Vacuum, Heat treatment, High Voltage Applications, Measuring Instruments and Calibrations, Gas lines, hydraulic, and other systems
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
  • Problem-solving skills Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATIONS

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong teaming skills.
  • Basic understanding of material logistics.
  • Basic understanding of several business systems/concepts such as Demand Flow, Statistical Process Control, Process Documentation, Empowerment, Six Sigma methods, Quality and/or Cost Improvement.
