Job Description

  • Act as the WSH Officer registered with MOM, ensuring full compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and all applicable local regulations.
  • Lead and conduct WSH Committee meetings, workplace inspections, and incident investigations; implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Oversee contractor EHS management, including reviewing Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and ensuring all EHS-related documentation is completed and submitted.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory EHS reporting requirements and facilitate regulatory audits and inspections.
  • Regularly review and update applicable EHS legal requirements and ensure alignment with site practices.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local legislation, corporate EHS frameworks, and customer requirements (e.g., RBA, UL2799).
  • Support waste tracking and reporting, particularly aligning operations with UL2799 Zero Waste to Landfill certification requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure proper waste segregation, recycling practices, and documentation.
  • Support internal & external EHS audits and customer assessments, including preparing relevant documentation and facilitating site visits.
  • Coordinate the collection and submission of EHS performance data to corporate stakeholders and customers.
  • Develop and deliver EHS-related training programs to employees and contractors to build awareness and competency.
  • Proactively promote a strong EHS culture and ensure continual improvement of workplace safety and environmental standards.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned in support of the company's health, safety, and environmental goals.

Job Requirements:

  • WSH Officer certification registered with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM)
  • Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering or relevance fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in EHS roles, preferably in Manufacturing, Logistics, or Tech-related industries.
  • Familiar with RBA standards, UL2799 requirements, and local environmental regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
