Environment, Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Officer / Senior EHS Officer to lead and drive the organization's workplace safety, health, and environmental initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Singapore statutory requirements, corporate EHS standards, and customer-specific requirements while fostering a strong safety culture across the organization.

This role will act as the registered Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer and support continuous improvement initiatives covering workplace safety, environmental sustainability, waste management, regulatory compliance, and contractor management.

Core Area

• Lead workplace safety inspections, risk assessments, hazard identification activities, and incident investigations.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Organize and facilitate WSH Committee meetings and drive safety improvement initiatives across the site.
• Monitor workplace safety performance and recommend preventive measures to reduce incidents and occupational risks.
• Support waste management programs and sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction, recycling, and resource conservation efforts.
• Manage waste tracking, reporting, and documentation to support UL2799 Zero Waste to Landfill certification requirements.
• Review and update site EHS procedures and programs to ensure ongoing compliance.

Required background/skills and experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.

Certifications

• Registered Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer with Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) is mandatory.
• Additional certifications such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Fire Safety Manager, or Environmental Control Officer will be advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant EHS experience in manufacturing, electronics, semiconductor, technology, logistics, or related industries.
• Experience managing workplace safety programs, environmental compliance, and regulatory reporting.
