Enterprise Finance Data Workstream Lead - MDM SAP S/4HANA

• The Enterprise Data Lead is the individual responsible for planning and ensuring the delivery of all data related objectives in a business transformation initiative
• This role requires a hybrid skillset which includes a specific understanding of how data is technically used and stored by business systems as well as a business understanding of how that data can best be used to solve the business problems driving the program
• This individual needs to effectively communicate with IT, business, and project leadership and must be able to balance the roles as data management champion aligned to the enterprise goals and strategy with the tactical implementation deployment complexities
• The role requires an individual that can both interact and operate at the program leadership level as well as down to the program data subject matter level

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define data management strategies and ensure alignment to the tactical deployment

• Build, integrate and maintain the data components of the overall project plan and timeline

• Represent the data team in all PMO activities and meetings

• Manage data related issues and risks and escalate appropriately

• Participate in cross-project team coordination meetings

• Attend business and software configuration workshops to ensure that data requirements are being addressed and identify the scope of data work required to support the solution being implemented

• Work closely with the functional team leads to ensure that all data work is coordinated and prioritized to support that work stream

• Ensure that the proper data is available in the proper environments to support all functional team activities

• Work with the system integrator to ensure that all data work complies with their best practice and software requirements

• Work with the business leads to define all data maintenance and data governance business activities while ensuring that resources are assigned and trained to perform those activities

• Coordinate with the OCM lead to ensure that any data maintenance and governance business changes are addressed in the overall OCM plan

• Serve as overall data product owner on all data related development scrum teams

• Provide data business requirements, prioritization, and clarifications to ensure that all development activities can be completed to the program timeline

• Manage the overall backlog and all backlog grooming activities

• Attend scrum meetings (Stand-ups, Retrospectives, etc)

• Work with the infrastructure teams to make sure the proper infrastructure is in place to capture, store, and move data to meet all program business requirements

• Provide guidance, oversight and subject matter expertise for each data workstream including data readiness, data Integration, data migration, and data governance processes

CAPABILITIES

• At least 7-10 years of consulting experience (big 4 or equivalent preferred)

Expertise in the following areas:

• Leadership of complex enterprise data implementations

• Execution of data governance, data modelling, data conversion, data integration, data profiling, and data analysis initiatives

• Managing workshops, facilitating groups, and leading stakeholders through planning exercises

• Communicating technical subject matter in a variety of modes and formats, with skill at creating visualizations and other methods of translating complex information into easily digestible chunks in order to align various stakeholders from the shop floor to the C-Suite

Experience in the following areas:

• Life Sciences industry business operations and regulations

• Program/Project Management within global transformational projects

• SAFe, Agile and Waterfall methodologies

• Leadership roles as part of global complex enterprise software implementations operating in highly matrixed shared services environment

• Risk identification and mitigation planning and execution

• Business process analysis

• MS Project planning and execution activities

• Regulatory compliance and/or software validation components of a large program initiative

• Master Data Management (MDM) components of a large program initiative, including data software tools

• MS Excel functional analytics and database capabilities

• Account/Client Management including identifying leads and opportunities, leading sales pursuit teams, writing proposals and closing business

• Accomplished in clearly communicating complex ideas in written and verbal form coupled with keen emotional intelligence and polished etiquette to deliver insights, manage conflicts with diplomacy, and influence outcomes.
