What you'll do:

Are you looking for a unique, truly innovative role What if it could be with one of the most impactful IT companies in the world Then we have the right opportunity-we are looking for a Technical Architect within HPE IT's Enterprise Architecture team to join us! In this exciting role you will be part of a strong team in Global IT to provide technical expertise for business solutions supporting multiple groups. There are four primary areas of responsibilities:

Technical Architecture Leadership

  • Develop architecture best practices, technology standards, design patterns and engage the architecture community for adoption.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts to evaluate platform or technical capabilities.
  • Proactively identify architecture soft spots and single points of failure in the end-to-end system flows and develop architecture solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical platform architecture for the current and future states.
  • Provide architecture governance as part of the Architecture Review Board

Architecture Strategy and Roadmap

  • Develop enterprise architecture strategy for one or more areas in business systems and applications, enterprise data and analytics systems, IT infrastructure systems.
  • Research market offerings and products on IT services and systems, analyze product maturities and capabilities, review use cases and develop points of view.
  • Develop and own the multi-year architecture roadmaps and collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure alignment of the initiatives with the roadmap.

Architecture Delivery

  • Lead and develop end-to-end technical architecture for projects that span across multiple business groups for optimal costs, high system availability and performance, and operational resilience.
  • Develop business architecture, platform architecture, data architecture and infrastructure architecture.
  • Partner with solution architects and other project members for the successful delivery of projects
  • Drive the project execution by ensuring business objectives are accomplished in compliance with the technology and architecture standards and roadmaps.

Value Added Partnership and Collaboration

  • Collaborate with other enterprise architects to develop and maintain end-to-end systems architecture.
  • Communicate effectively with IT and business leaders to influence decisions and address concerns.
  • Create an environment of trust and seek diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation.

What you need to bring:

  • Industry experience - Minimum 10 - 15 years
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.

How you'll make your mark:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience working with SAP, preferably in FI, CO, SD, SAP BRIM (Subscription Order Management, Convergent Charging, Invoicing & Mediation, Revenue Accounting & Reporting, Entitlement Management, etc.) and Supply Chain related modules.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience in SAP configuration, customization, and integration, preferably in a systems integration or architect role
  • Proficient in S/4, SAP Fiori, and other relevant SAP technologies.
  • Proven functional consulting experience with expertise in system implementation projects.
  • Strong background in financial and accounting processes.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Must have good understanding of financial processes, underlined accounting, and SOX requirements to support global financial requirements.
  • Must be an expert in analyzing, creating system specifications, and developing tests and implementing business solutions using SAP technologies.
  • Must have solid grasp and understanding of development using ABAP objects and HANA SQL.
  • Hands-on experience working with interfaces in addition to Web Services, such as APIs communicating with non-SAP applications and their reconciliation.
  • Must have good experience with SAP security concepts and understanding of authorization checks in ABAP objects.
  • Experience managing projects and working with multi-functional teams across different organizations.
  • BS/MS degree in computer science, engineering, data science, business administration, information science or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse and geographically dispersed team.
