About Position:
We are looking for an Enterprise Architect who can establish architectural guardrails for AI-augmented engineering by validating reusable patterns, governance rules and implementation standards that can be consumed by engineering teams and AI coding agents.

What You'll Do:
- Define and maintain enterprise reference architectures covering cloud platforms, application modernization, API and integration strategy, event-driven architecture, data platforms and observability.
- Own architecture governance across SDLC phases — discovery, solutioning, estimation, design reviews, implementation checkpoints, code/design validation, deployment readiness and production governance.
- Use Agentic AI & Gen AI for SDLC phases for enhancing team productivity & for taking product to the next level.
- Drive enterprise technology roadmaps aligned to business capability maps, portfolio priorities, platform standards, security requirements and operational constraints.
- Provide architectural oversight across polyglot enterprise stacks including cloud-native services, serverless components, web applications, APIs, data stores, search platforms and legacy integration layers.
- Establish decision frameworks for build-vs-buy, integration style, data ownership, platform reuse, migration sequencing, technology standardization and technical debt remediation.
- Define architectural standards for non-functional requirements including scalability, reliability, security, performance, observability, resiliency, recoverability and cost efficiency.
- Guide event-driven and streaming data flow architecture including ordering, replay, idempotency, failure handling, dead-letter processing and cross-platform integration responsibilities.
- Validate patterns extracted by code intelligence or architecture mining pipelines; classify patterns as strategic, canonical, legacy, exception-based or requiring correction.
- Provide structured feedback to AI/platform engineering teams to improve pattern extraction, architecture recommendations, reusable templates and agentic engineering guardrails.
- Review solution designs and agent-generated/code-assisted implementation outputs for consistency with enterprise architecture principles and approved patterns.
- Document architecture decisions, constraints, trade-offs, risks, exceptions and migration paths in a reusable format for leadership, delivery teams and architecture repositories.
- Mentor architects and senior engineers, facilitate architecture forums and influence adoption of enterprise standards across multiple teams and programmes
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 15+ years in software engineering, distributed systems, enterprise architecture or large-scale platform architecture.
- Strong enterprise architecture experience across business capabilities, application portfolios, integration landscapes, data architecture, cloud adoption and technology governance.
- Deep experience defining enterprise reference architectures, architecture principles, standards, reusable patterns and governance processes across multiple teams.
- Cloud architecture expertise across AWS and/or Azure; ability to guide serverless, containerized, event-driven, API-led and data-intensive architectures at enterprise scale.
- Good experience with Agentic AI & Gen AI in productivity enhancements & product enhancements. Understanding of how architecture patterns are consumed by AI systems such as pipelines, agents, templates and automated review tools etc.
- Integration architecture depth — APIs, messaging, streaming, event-driven patterns, service boundaries, canonical data models, contracts, retries, idempotency and failure handling.
- Data architecture knowledge across relational, document, key-value, search and analytics stores; ability to define ownership, access patterns, lineage, quality and governance considerations.
- Security and compliance-by-design mindset including identity, access, secrets, data protection, auditability, threat modelling and secure SDLC practices.
- Architecture governance across full SDLC — architecture review boards, design approvals, technical risk management, production readiness and exception management.
- Ability to reason from existing code, architecture artefacts and operational telemetry; not limited to greenfield architecture design.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills; ability to simplify complex technical trade-offs for business and delivery leadership.
- Experience guiding architecture in transformation programmes involving modernization, migration, platform consolidation, technical debt reduction or operating model change.
