We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Technology Architect with a primary focus on Finance and HR business domains to drive technology and process architecture strategy across the enterprise. This role is central to advancing Oracle Fusion ERP and Workday implementations, modernizing data warehousing capabilities, and governing responsible AI adoption. The Architect will serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders, development teams, and enterprise governance bodies, bridging strategy and delivery across a complex and evolving technology landscape.
A key aspect of this role is active participation in AmpliFi, a multi-year enterprise transformation program focused on modernizing OCFO financial business processes and systems through the implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP and the sunsetting of PeopleSoft. The Architect will play an important role in shaping the architectural direction of this program, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, and enabling successful delivery across its full lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
The Corporate Technology Architect will develop and maintain current and target state architectures and roadmaps, with particular depth in Oracle Fusion ERP and Workday as the anchor platforms for Finance and HR. This includes portfolio analysis of the application inventory to rationalize platforms, reduce redundancy, and align investments with business strategy. Within the context of AmpliFi, the Architect will provide ongoing architectural guidance to support the transition from PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion, helping to define integration patterns, data migration approaches, and decommissioning strategies that minimize risk and support business continuity.
A significant focus will be placed on data warehousing and data platform architecture, encompassing data lakehouse design, data mesh concepts, and metadata management to enable trusted, analytics-ready data across supported domains. The Architect will also govern AI and Generative AI use cases for feasibility, and policy adherence, collaborating closely with the AI Center of Excellence and vendors to align domain initiatives with enterprise AI strategy while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
A critical responsibility is preparing and enabling development teams to meet Technical Architecture Group requirements, guiding teams through architecture review processes, ensuring solution designs are well-documented and defensible, and reducing rework stemming from governance gaps. The Architect will work with leads in technology evaluations, engage vendors on roadmap alignment, and develop well-reasoned recommendations for technology and business leadership.
This role will also research on new Orchestration tools, COTS software and aligning them with cybersecurity policies relevant to Finance and HR, translating requirements into practical architectural guidance and ensuring security controls and risk mitigations are embedded into solution designs from the outset. The Architect will present roadmaps and recommendations to the Technical Architecture Group, champion build versus buy strategies, and represent Finance and HR domains in enterprise architecture forums.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must bring deep experience with Oracle Fusion ERP or Workday, meaningful background in Corporate Finance or HR domains, and strong familiarity with data warehousing, data lakehouse, and data mesh architectures. Experience with large-scale ERP transformation programs, particularly Oracle Fusion implementations and PeopleSoft migrations, is highly desirable given the scope and significance of the AmpliFi program. Practical knowledge of AI and Generative AI frameworks including RAG-based implementations is expected, along with broad proficiency across AWS, OCI, and Azure cloud platforms, enterprise security frameworks, and integration patterns.
Experience navigating architecture review boards, working with AI COE and vendor partners, and using APM tools such as Ardoq is highly valued. Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills are essential, as this role drives outcomes across a broad set of stakeholders without direct authority. Financial Services or Insurance industry experience is preferred but not required.
