Your Job

As an Engineering Manager Integration at Koch Inc.s KGSI Technology Center (KTC) in Bengaluru, you will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver robust, cloud-native enterprise and integration solutions. This role is pivotal in driving technical excellence, fostering innovation, and aligning engineering efforts with Koch's global technology ecosystem.

Our Team

You will be part of Koch's growing innovation hub in India, supporting global digital transformation initiatives. The team includes Software Engineers, Integration Engineers, DevOps, and Architects working collaboratively across Koch's global businesses.

What You Will Do

  • Take full ownership of integration solutions from conception to delivery and support.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team.
  • Architect and guide technical decisions for enterprise platforms and system integrations.
  • Foster modern engineering practices with agile delivery, DevOps, and CI/CD.
  • Define integration strategies and oversee development of custom solutions enabling seamless data exchange and real-time processing.
  • Promote innovation, automation, and adoption of cloud and integration best practices.
  • Support production troubleshooting and empower on-call rotations.
  • Champion talent development aligned with Koch's Principle Based Management framework.
  • Collaborate with global technology, architecture, and business leaders.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • 12+ years in software engineering, including 4+ years in engineering management or technical leadership.
  • Proven experience in:
    • Front-end technologies (Angular, React Native, ASP.NET, Kendo UI)
    • Cloud-native back-end architectures (GoLang, Python, Java, C#/.NET)
    • Integration patterns, SOA, Microservices, web services (SOAP, REST), and event-driven architecture
    • Middleware tools (preferably MuleSoft)
    • Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
    • Event streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, NATS)
    • Agile methodologies and version control (GitHub, GitLab)
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams delivering complex systems.
  • Knowledge of industrial/automation protocols (OPC-UA, MQTT, MODBUS).
  • Exposure to GenAI or AI-driven development.
  • Passion for innovation and building high-performance teams.

  • Strong stakeholder management and mentoring skills.
  • Experience deploying API and microservices in containerized environments using Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with automation and transparency practices in engineering delivery.
