Qualification: BE / B Tech, ME / MTech
Roles & Responsibilities:
- CAD & PLM System knowhow
- Knowledge of CAD and PLM platforms along with auxiliary applications integrated with CAD/PLM systems.
- Data Exchange & Interoperability
- Able to define and manage data exchange workflows between different CAD systems and downstream applications.
- Exposure to Data exchange solutions with External partners.
- Ensure proper translation, validation, and integrity of 2D/3D engineering data across formats.
- Define and maintain best practices for CAD data migration, conversion, and delivery.
Process & Methods
- Contribute to the development and documentation of CAD/PLM processes, standards, and methods.
- Support engineering teams in adopting and following best practices for model creation, structure management, and data publishing.
- Work closely with downstream consumers (manufacturing, simulation, quality, etc.) to ensure data alignment and usability.
Must Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience with CATIA V5/V6,
- Solid understanding of CAD formats (e.g., STEP, IGES, JT, Parasolid, DXF/DWG).
- Knowledge of Windchill PLM system, knowledge on 3D experience platform is good to have.
- Understanding of data exchange processes, interoperability standards, and downstream engineering workflows.
- Awareness of engineering lifecycle processes (design release, change management, BOM structures).
- Exposure to manufacturing, simulation, or digital engineering workflows is a plus.
