Job Description
- Supervise daily production activities in the CNC machine shop to ensure optimal output and quality standards.
- Manage a team of machine operators, providing guidance and support to achieve production targets.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all CNC machines are operational and well-maintained.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet delivery deadlines and customer demands.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with company health and safety regulations.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specified standards and requirements.
- Prepare daily and weekly production reports, documenting productivity, machine performance, and any issues encountered.
- Utilize CNC programming knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve any machine-related issues.
- Train and mentor new operators, ensuring they understand machine operations and company standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality and Logistics, to improve production efficiency and product quality.
