We are seeking a dynamic
Sales & Service Engineer who can generate business opportunities and provide technical support for industrial automation products and solutions. This dual-role position involves both customer acquisition and post-sales technical service, ensuring end-to-end client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for automation products and turnkey solutions.
- Understand customer applications and propose suitable automation solutions, including PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, Servo systems, industrial communication, and control panels tailored to their requirements.
- Prepare and deliver technical/commercial proposals and presentations to clients.
- Collaborate with the design and estimation team to prepare BOQs and quotations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
Service
- Perform on-site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automation systems.
- Provide technical support to customers remotely or at site.
- Ensure timely resolution of service-related issues; escalate complex problems when required.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and system health checks.
- Prepare service reports and collect customer feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements- Experience: 25 years in sales and/or service within the automation or industrial machinery sector.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, Servo drives, and industrial communication protocols.
- Hands-on experience in automation system installation and troubleshooting.
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel for client visits and service calls.
