Engineer, Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Engineer, Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) to join our Global Security Office. This role will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing optimization of enterprise Identity Governance solutions with a strong focus on SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC). The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud identity technologies, access governance, lifecycle management, and building AI-powered solutions that enhance identity governance capabilities.

This position will play a key role in advancing the organization's identity security strategy through modern cloud-based IAM capabilities, scalable governance processes, and the development of AI-powered identity governance solutions that improve operational efficiency, strengthen access controls, and provide intelligent insights across the identity ecosystem.

Responsibilities - Technical Leadership & Solution Delivery

- Lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise Identity Governance and Administration solutions utilizing SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC).
- Design, build and deploy scalable identity lifecycle management processes including Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML), access requests, certifications, role management, and policy enforcement.
- Design and develop SailPoint ISC integrations with cloud platforms, SaaS applications, HR systems, directories, and enterprise applications.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for SailPoint ISC architecture, configuration, workflows, identity profiles, access profiles, rules, provisioning, and governance controls.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, implementation standards, and operational procedures.

Cloud Identity & Access Management

- Design and support cloud IAM integrations across Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, AWS IAM, Google Cloud IAM, and other SaaS environments.
- Implement identity governance controls for hybrid and cloud-native environments.
- Establish best practices for cloud entitlement management, privileged access governance, and identity lifecycle automation.
- Ensure alignment of cloud identity services with enterprise security and compliance requirements.

AI Solutions & Automation for Identity Governance

- Design, develop, and implement AI-powered solutions that enhance Identity Governance & Administration capabilities across the enterprise.
- Leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics to improve identity lifecycle management, access governance, and decision-making processes.
- Build AI-enabled capabilities within SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) and related IAM platforms to support access certification recommendations, role mining, identity risk scoring, access anomaly detection, policy violation identification, automated remediation workflows, and governance reporting.
- Develop integrations between SailPoint ISC, enterprise AI platforms, and automation tools to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Utilize APIs, automation frameworks, and AI technologies to streamline identity governance processes and reduce manual effort.
- Collaborate with security, engineering, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can strengthen governance controls and improve identity-related decisions.
- Evaluate emerging AI capabilities within IAM and cybersecurity and recommend innovative solutions aligned to business objectives.
- Establish governance, monitoring, and performance metrics for AI-driven identity governance capabilities.

Access Governance & Security

- Implement and enforce identity governance policies, access controls, and segregation of duties (SoD) requirements.
- Design governance controls that support least privilege and zero trust principles.
- Configure and maintain access reviews, policy frameworks, role models, and certification processes.
- Monitor governance metrics and KPIs to ensure operational effectiveness and compliance.

Risk, Compliance & Audit Support

- Assess and mitigate risks associated with identity and access management processes.
- Ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST, and other applicable frameworks.
- Support internal and external audit activities by providing evidence, reporting, and control validation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) technologies
• 2+ years of direct experience implementing and supporting SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) in large enterprise environments
• Proven experience integrating SailPoint ISC with Entra ID, Active Directory, ServiceNow, cloud and SaaS platforms
• Strong expertise in Identity Lifecycle Management, Access Requests, Access Certifications, Provisioning, RBAC, ABAC, and SoD controls
• Experience designing and implementing AI-powered solutions supporting Identity Governance & Administration platforms, including identity analytics, intelligent access reviews, role mining, risk-based access controls, governance reporting, and automation of identity lifecycle processes.
