The individual will be the part of UK Building Specialists team in India, and will be responsible for carrying the detailed design work with the UK team.
Responsibilities
Use computer modelling to predict how fires start and spread
make recommendations about building design and materials to prevent fires starting and spreading
give advice on fire safety systems and procedures like sprinklers and emergency exits
provide support on approval by local authorities, construction professionals and architects about fire safety
keep up to date with new fire regulations and laws
provide support on technical specification for equipment, buildings and materials to make sure they are safe
write fire strategy reports, technical notes, technical emails
review drawings and provide markups and annotations as necessary.
