Key Responsibilities
- To test and verify the performance of TFT and LCD Display, Telematics and Modem as per the functional specification, implicit industry standards, and design standards.
- To Test, collect, analyze the test results and communicate to the design team. Work closely with design engineers to solve any issues.
- To Plan, identify, and procure the necessary test equipment according to the testing requirements.
- To prepare the test plan, procedures and test reports are a must.
- Shall manage lab equipment, handling and calibration.
- Conduct product safety/ performance tests on Electronic & Electrical products according to standards or testing methods/SOPs
- Develop a risk-based test strategy, plan test procedures and author test cases based on PRD, Field Failures and DFMEA documents.
Ideal Candidate
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- 2 to 4 years related industry experience with electrical and electronics, with a focus on medium power 3-phase equipment.
- Knowledge on testing different types of automotive display, modem and telematics units is desirable.
- Requirement Analysis, Test Case Writing, Test case Execution, Defect Reporting
- Candidates having experience in test Automation using LabView, Arduino or other programming language are preferred.
- Perform Electrical/Electronic products sample Prepare samples & test plan and conduct test program as per prescribed testing methods/ Test Request Form, standards / specifications.
- Support & conduct testing according to relevant standards. Prepare test data sheets & reports
- Follow & Oversee for Testing Integrity, test-data/record Accuracy and equipment used for test. Consumable use, if req.
- Provide feedback to the Manager/ Mgmt regarding processes and recommendations for improvements.
- Ability to work with team engineers and to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge & Aptitude for testing of Electronics /laboratory instruments / manufacturing sector. Hands-on testing experience is a must.
- Working knowledge of AIS test standards relating to electronics products.
- Understanding of product Electromagnetic Compliance testing requirements would be an advantage
- Capability plan ahead & Flexibility to perform multiple tasks.
- Shall be able to read and understand the specifications, drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of test equipment like CRO, AC/DC Source, Power Analyzers, transformers, Multimeters, Data loggers etc.
- Good understanding of analog and digital circuits, power electronics circuits.
- Effective coordination with internal & external resources towards work completion
- Computer proficiency with Windows- Excel, Word & powerpoint.
