Job Description

Frazer Jones is pleased to partner with a well‑established global organisation to appoint an Employee Relations Specialist. Based in Singapore, this position provides the opportunity to shape and influence the organisation's employee relations agenda across the region, contributing to fair workplace practices, policy enhancement, risk mitigation, and capability building.

Reporting to the Head of Employee Relations, you will take ownership of a broad range of ER‑related matters from start to finish. This includes supporting leaders and employees through complex or sensitive cases such as performance issues, grievances, misconduct, and conflict resolution, guiding decision‑making to ensure outcomes are fair, consistent, and compliant with local regulations. The workload includes day‑to‑day advisory support as well as cases requiring deeper judgement, discretion, and the ability to remain objective during high‑pressure situations. You will also coach people managers, helping them build the confidence and capability to handle ER matters through targeted training, advisory support, and upskilling initiatives. In addition, you will contribute to broader ER projects and continuous‑improvement efforts, both locally and internationally, focusing on strengthening processes, reducing ER‑related risks, and enhancing the overall employee experience.

Another key part of the role involves maintaining a strong understanding of employment legislation, regulatory requirements, and ER best practices across the region, ensuring internal policies and procedures remain current and aligned with local laws. You will analyse ER trends, identify root causes, and use data insights to recommend proactive actions, escalating themes and potential risks to senior stakeholders where neccessary.

The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, with 8 to 10 years of progressive HR experience and at least 5 years specialising in employee relations or people advisory work within the APAC region. Strong communication, investigation, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as the role requires breaking down complex issues into clear, practical guidance while navigating sensitive situations with both empathy and objectivity. Experience working in multinational or dynamic environments, along with familiarity with modern HR systems and case‑management tools, will be advantageous.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned ER professional ready to step into a role with significant influence over regional employee relations strategy, governance, and continuous improvement.
