    About the role

    Should be able to Working with the team to design & develop new platform/middle ware components and maintain/redesign existing platform/middle ware components.

    Providing customer support for integrating platform/middle ware components into their applications.

    Troubleshooting technical hardware and software issues

    Technical skills in most of the following areas:

    Expertise in system architecture design and integration on Linux based ARM 32-bit embedded systems.

    Excellent programming abilities in C, C++ & bash/shell.

    Excellent knowledge of Jenkins and GIT/SVN repository.

    Strong problem-solving skills.

    Strong understanding of product security functions.

    Working knowledge of GNU development and debugging tools.

    Working Knowledge of industrial protocols like BACnet, Modbus.

    Working Knowledge of TCP/IP, Sockets Programming.

    Working knowledge of Virtualization.

    Knowledge of device driver development for UART, Wi-Fi is a plus.

    Experience with Agile/Scrum is a plus

    Key Responsibilities:

    Working with the team to design & develop new platform/middleware components and maintain/redesign existing platform/middleware components.

    Providing customer support for integrating platform/middleware components into their applications.

    Troubleshooting technical hardware and software issues.

    Finding ways to increase productivity and reduce expenses.

    Learn new products, technologies and best practices and find way to use them.

    Train team and customers in best practices and new technologies.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering

    10-12 years of experience in Embedded software development

    Organizational skills and consulting abilities that:

  • Candidate must conduct business in an ethical manner, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with little supervision. Know how/where to get answers and overcomes obstacles. Highly driven, strong communicator who can understand customer requirements and project goals and is able to balance multiple priorities. Work in a team environment when required and produce results in a timely manner. Possess a positive attitude, show enthusiasm, take pride in the work, be results driven, keen to learn, creative and efficient.

    Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
