Honeywell's Emissions Management Solution is an innovative and cost-effective leak detection technology for fugitive and process methane emissions over large areas.

Wireless gas detectors are easy to deploy and relocate for an automated end-to-end solution to rapidly detect and measure leaks visualization and trending tools support predictive maintenance and reduce plant downtime and analytics provide gas leak location for maintenance and process optimization.

Our Emissions Management Solution enables timely and accurate enterprise-wide accounting, visualization and reporting and gives the user a holistic, near real-time view of Scope 1 emissions.

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Engineer to join our team, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Emissions Management Solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in end-to-end solution testing, LoRaWAN-based network management, possess a strong background in IoT technologies, and have a foundational understanding of Linux. The primary focus will be on testing emissions management solutions, ensuring to meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create product performance standards, test plans, test cases, and develop test environments to ensure product software meets industry and internal specifications.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of Emissions Management Solution to ensure to meet specified requirements.
  • Perform end-to-end solution function tests to validate the seamless integration of different components within the system.
  • Collaborate with network engineering teams to ensure the optimal performance of LoRaWAN networks in Emissions Management Solution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects and issues.
  • Candidate will be responsible for the overall System level Test Coverage and reduction in Post Release defects to the Customer/End User.
  • Candidate will be responsible for On-time delivery of project/group objectives and influences project level productivity.
  • Prepare detailed test reports outlining test results, defects identified, and overall system performance.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide insights into the testing process and outcomes.
  • Complies with Honeywell policies, procedures, and HS&E requirements as applicable.

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in Embedded Software or Software solution testing in Industrial Control system Domain.
  • Programming knowledge of Python.

Skills Requirement:

  • Strong knowledge of LoRaWAN technology and its application in IoT solutions.
  • Experience with MQTT protocol and its implementation in IoT systems.
  • Experience with different industrial communication protocol such as Modbus, DNP3 etc.
  • Familiarity with Experion PKS and its integration in industrial domain.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems.
