Job Role: Embedded C++ Software Architect - Automotive
Experience: 9-15 Years
Location: Pune
Key Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end embedded software architecture for automotive platforms.
- Design scalable firmware, middleware, diagnostics, and communication frameworks.
- Develop high-performance applications using Modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20).
- Architect embedded solutions on Embedded Linux and RTOS (QNX, FreeRTOS, VxWorks).
- Design communication using CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, SOME/IP, MQTT, and TCP/IP.
- Lead diagnostics, OTA updates, remote connectivity, and cloud integration initiatives.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, cybersecurity, cloud, and validation teams.
- Drive architecture reviews, technical leadership, code quality, and best engineering practices.
- Mentor engineering teams and support customer technical discussions.
Key Skills
- 9+ years of Embedded Software Development experience.
- Strong expertise in Modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20).
- Experience with Embedded Linux and RTOS platforms.
- Strong knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, SOME/IP, and TCP/IP.
- Experience in Automotive Diagnostics, Connected Vehicle Platforms, and OTA solutions.
- Hands-on experience with multithreading, concurrency, IPC, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Edge Computing, and Automotive Cybersecurity (ISO 21434) is an advantage.
