Job Description

The ideal candidate will be a creative and analytical thinker. They will be able to conduct insightful market research to establish a marketing strategy that will effectively reach the target audience. They should be comfortable evaluating the marketing process, and work to critique and improve its outcomes.

Responsibilities

1. Email campaign management

  • Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and automated sequences.
  • Develop engaging email content and CTAs aligned with brand tone and marketing objectives.
  • A/B test subject lines, content, layouts, and send times to optimize performance.

2. Audience Segmentation

  • Segment email lists based on user behavior, demographics, and lifecycle stages.
  • Implement personalized messaging strategies to improve open and click-through rates.
  • Maintain updated and clean subscriber lists to ensure high deliverability.

3. Analytics and Reporting

  • Track and analyze key metrics such as open rate, CTR, conversion rate, unsubscribe rate, revenue from email, etc.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports and propose data-driven improvements.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to enhance performance.

4. Tools & Platform Management

  • Manage email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, etc.).
  • Integrate email tools with CRM, website forms, landing pages, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to campaign execution.

5. Strategy & Optimization

  • Develop email marketing strategies to increase retention, engagement, and conversions.
  • Conduct competitor research and stay updated with email marketing trends.
  • Suggest new ideas to improve subscriber engagement and campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • Strong analytical, communication, time-management and creativity skills
