As a news editor, you will play a critical role in shaping the content and quality of our publication. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire editorial process, from idea generation to publication. Your primary duties will include:
Reviewing news pitches and story ideas from reporters and freelance contributors.
Assigning stories to writers and providing guidance and feedback throughout the writing process.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.
Proven experience as a news editor or similar role, preferably in a digital newsroom environment.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong understanding of AP style and other journalistic standards.
