Keep a record of all auctions conducted and their outcomes.
Manage and update product catalogs within the Ariba procurement system. Ensure that catalogs are up-to-date and accurate for purchasing purposes.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning the auction, setting the date and time, selecting the appropriate auction format (e.g., live auction, online auction, sealed bid), and ensuring all necessary resources are in place. Preparing and maintaining all relevant auction documents, including terms and conditions, auction catalog, bidder registration, and bidding instructions.
Effectively communicating with potential bidders, providing them with necessary information, and addressing inquiries.
Managing the process of bidder registration, including verifying bidder identities and ensuring they meet any eligibility criteria. Implementing measures to prevent fraudulent bidding and ensuring the security of bidder information.
Managing the actual auction event, including starting and ending the auction, accepting bids, and announcing winning bids. Continuously monitoring bids to ensure compliance with auction rules and addressing any issues or disputes promptly
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills.
Basic auctioneer Training.
Hands-on experience allows them to learn the intricacies of conducting auctions, handling bidders, and managing the auction process.
