Company: Zealmax Innovations Private Limited
Location: Lapkaman, Ahmedabad
Reporting to: Directors
Experience: 7–9 years (D2C / e-commerce warehousing mandatory)
CTC: Up to ₹13,00,000/- per annum based on candidate's experience and current CTC
About the role
Zealmax Innovations Private Limited, a growing D2C company, is looking for an E-commerce Operations Manager
to lead day-to-day operations at our warehouse in Lapkaman, Ahmedabad. This is a hands-on, floor-based role with
full ownership of inventory accuracy, dispatch SLAs, and team performance at a single-site facility handling high
order volumes and frequent stock movement.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Warehouse Operations
- Own end-to-end warehouse operations: inbound receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Optimize warehouse layout for faster picking and space utilization.
- Monitor and control packaging material usage and wastage.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Manage inventory accuracy across the WMS/ERP and physical stock; drive cycle counts and full audits.
- Handle high-volume, fast-turnover inventory typical of D2C — no long lead-time buffers.
- Maintain proper labeling, batch tracking, and expiry/aging control where applicable.
- Handle quality checks on inward stock and flag vendor-side defects or shortages.
- Reduce shrinkage, damages, and mis-shipments through tighter process controls.
Returns & Reverse Logistics
- Manage reverse logistics: returns, exchanges, and RTO reconciliation.
- Coordinate daily with courier partners/3PLs on pickups, delayed shipments, and NDR resolution.
- Inspect returned goods for quality and categorize as resalable, damaged, or write-off.
- Ensure timely restocking of resalable returns back into saleable inventory.
- Track and report return/RTO trends to identify recurring issues (courier, packaging, product).
- Coordinate with customer support on high-value or disputed return cases.
- Maintain accurate documentation and root-cause tagging for every return processed.
Vendor & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Manage vendor/procurement coordination for timely stock replenishment.
- Coordinate with the finance/accounts team for stock valuation and reconciliation.
- Ensure timely escalation and resolution of order-related discrepancies with the customer support team.
Team Management
- Lead warehouse staff — performance, and discipline on the floor.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Report daily/weekly on stock health, aging inventory, dispatch TAT, and order fulfillment accuracy to
- Directors.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation for all stock movements and transactions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and statutory warehouse norms.
- Present monthly performance reviews to Directors covering cost, efficiency, and shrinkage trends.
- Flag operational risks or major discrepancies to Directors on priority..
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7–9 years of experience in E-commerce warehouse management, with at least 3–4 years specifically in a
- D2C or e-commerce company.
- Hands-on experience with WMS/ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of reverse logistics, RTO handling, and courier/3PL coordination.
- Proven track record managing high-volume, fast-turnover inventory environments.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel/reporting tools for inventory tracking and analysis.
- Strong people-management skills — experience directly supervising warehouse floor staff.
- Stable work history, with reasonable tenure in previous roles.
- Preferred
- Experience in [category — fashion/electronics/FMCG/beauty, etc.] D2C brands.
- Exposure to automation/tech-enabled WMS tools.
