Job Title: Duty Manager
Location: South Goa
Key Responsibilities
- Staff Supervision:
- Oversee and manage operational staff, ensuring that all departments (e.g., reception, housekeeping, food & beverage) are running efficiently.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members as necessary.
- Monitor performance and provide support or guidance to staff as needed.
- Ensure that staff follow established policies and procedures.
- Guest Services:
- Handle guest complaints, requests, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure that all guests have an exceptional experience during their stay.
- Resolve any guest issues, including billing disputes, room changes, or other concerns.
- Coordinate with the front desk to manage check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.
- Operations Management:
- Ensure smooth operations across various hotel departments (e.g., front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage).
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
- Address operational challenges and make decisions to ensure continuity of services.
- Ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working order and take immediate action if necessary.
- Health & Safety:
- Monitor safety and security within the establishment, including emergency procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Respond to emergencies such as fire alarms, accidents, or other incidents, coordinating with emergency services when required.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Complete daily shift reports, including issues encountered, guest feedback, and any operational challenges.
- Report any incidents or irregularities to the senior management team.
- Maintain accurate logs of events, including guest interactions, staff performance, and operational status.
- Team Development:
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Offer feedback to staff, supporting their growth and improvement.
