Job Description: DSA Mentor | Full Time
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) Mentor who is passionate about teaching and mentoring students. This role is ideal for those with advanced programming expertise and a strong understanding of DSA concepts, who are eager to share their knowledge and inspire the next generation of developers.
Location: Hitech City, Hyderabad (Travel to multiple college campuses)
Shift Timings: 9.30 am to 6.00 pm
Work Mode: Work From Office / On-Site
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Mentoring students on DSA, Programming Concepts, & Competitive Programming.
- Help students solve coding problems, optimize algorithms, and prepare for technical interviews.
- Coordinate with other trainers and the team to improve training methodologies and content.
- Evaluate student performance through coding tests, Capstone projects, real-world coding challenges, track progress, give feedback, and support their learning journey.
- Oversee live lab sessions and practice hours during DSA classroom training.
- Provide real-time doubt solving, logic clarification, and validate test cases for students.
- Manage assigned student batches (70100 learners) and ensure timely mentorship delivery.
- Invigilate assessments, review submissions, and uphold academic integrity during tests.
- Represent WiseAcad at client institutions through workshops and interactive sessions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in software development, technical training, or competitive programming.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in C++, Java, and Python.
- Strong understanding of arrays, linked lists, trees, graphs, hash maps, and other core data structures.
- Expertise in sorting, searching, dynamic programming, greedy algorithms, and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with competitive programming paradigms, including bit manipulation, game theory, and advanced graph algorithms.
Good to have Qualifications
- Certifications in programming, teaching, or relevant technical courses.
- Strong experience in training students for technical interviews at top tech companies like Amazon, Google, and Microsoft.
- Proven track record in competitive programming, with consistent participation, good contest rankings, and active upsolving of problems on platforms like Codeforces, LeetCode, or CodeChef.
