Description
We are looking for an experienced Dresser to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in costume preparation and maintenance, with the ability to work collaboratively with designers and performers to create a seamless and visually stunning experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain costumes for performances and events.
- Assist in the fitting and adjustment of costumes for performers.
- Collaborate with designers and directors to understand costume requirements.
- Maintain an organized inventory of costumes and accessories.
- Ensure costumes are clean, repaired, and in good condition before and after performances.
- Assist performers in dressing and undressing as needed during shows.
Skills and Qualifications
- 6-11 years of experience in costume design or dressing for theater or film.
- Strong understanding of fabrics, materials, and garment construction.
- Ability to sew and perform basic repairs on costumes.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, especially during live performances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with performers and production teams.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics in costume styling.
