Primary Title: .NET Developer (Senior)
About The Opportunity
We are hiring for a technology-focused organisation operating in the enterprise software and digital transformation sectordelivering custom web applications, integration services, and scalable back-end systems for clients across finance, logistics, healthcare and consumer services. This role sits within a fast-paced delivery team building secure, high-performance .NET solutions for production environments.

Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable server-side applications using C# and .NET (Core or Framework) following coding standards and best practices.
- Build and consume RESTful Web APIs and microservices; implement robust data access layers using Entity Framework or equivalent ORM.
- Write efficient SQL/T-SQL for schema design, stored procedures, and query optimisation against SQL Server or comparable RDBMS.
- Collaborate with front-end engineers, QA and DevOps to deliver end-to-end features on sprint cadence; participate in code reviews and design discussions.
- Implement automated unit and integration tests, support CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot production issues with monitoring and logging tools.
- Participate in architectural improvements, performance tuning, and documentation to ensure maintainability and security of services.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 2+ years hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core
- Proven experience building RESTful APIs, Web API, and service-oriented/microservices patterns.
- Strong SQL Server skills (schema design, query tuning, stored procedures).
- Familiarity with Entity Framework or similar ORM and data-mapping patterns.
- Experience with Git-based workflows, CI/CD (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions/Jenkins), and containerisation (Docker).
- Good understanding of software engineering practices: unit testing, code reviews, and Agile delivery.
Preferred
- Experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, SQL Database) or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth/JWT, input validation, secure config) and performance optimisation.
- Experience with front-end tech (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and full-stack collaboration.
