Job Description: As an experienced Microsoft Purview Compliance DLP Engineer, you will assist in the
strategic design, implementation and ongoing optimisation of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) initiatives,
at an enterprise level, within Barclays.

Primary Responsibilities
Architect and engineer DLP security solutions that align with corporate level strategies.
Create, review and maintain DLP documentation including documenting & publishing fixes
in central knowledge base.
Work with global teams to provide consistent processes and solutions.
Competency to lead technical and strategic conversations with respect to M365 and can
advise partners on complex technical deployments and guidance navigating M365 products
and features.

Technical Skills & Competencies
5+ years of experience in data leakage analysis or data loss prevention for an enterprise
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
Exceptional understanding of existing on-premises and emerging M365 technologies.

Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Purview Compliance and Security toolset.

Alert management and investigation
o Information Protection
o Insider Risk Management
o Regular Expression Language (RegEx)
o Microsoft RMS/MPIP Encryption
Strong knowledge of M365 ntegration points with DLP.

o Office Apps: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Advanced PowerShell scripting skills
SME Knowledge on other Data Leakage Prevention security solutions covering Symantec
DLP EndPoint, Discover, Web & Email.
Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
Experience of dealing with incident, problem and change management processes.

Previous experience in the financial sector
Microsoft certifications: SC-900 & SC-400.
DevOps experience.
Strong Kusto Query Language (KQL) skills.

Experience with Windows, MacOS and iOS device administration & management.
