The COE Pricing Director will lead the Pricing Center of Excellence for the Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT) global pricing team. The COE will provide comprehensive pricing support to the wider PMT global pricing team. This includes management of the Price Desk (Quote Review) organization, systems/ERP management with respect to price, and pricing analytics/support/implementation for each individual business.
The candidate will have direct accountability and people leadership responsibility over a pricing center of excellence and pricing tool support. In addition, the candidate will work closely with pricing directors, offering management, sales excellence, as well as other and senior management to maximize the profitability of the business by systematically employing key pricing levers.
The candidate will define and ultimately be responsible for the pricing analytics teams to track and report Transactional, Pass-Thru, Value, New Products and OEM price agreements performance across regions on a recurring basis in line with pricing operating processes while collaborating cross functionally with Business Leadership, Finance, Product Marketing, Sales, and IT to support Pricing practice deployment globally.
Key performance goals include achieving gross & net price targets as well as enabling Variable Contribution Margin (VCM) expansion through pricing activities for PMT. In addition, key initiatives include delivering on pricing transformation actions and implementing standardized price desks across all PMT businesses and drive improvement in win rates and margin expansion through pricing actions.
We are looking for an experienced candidate who can:
.Lead the organization strategically through change and deliver on goals set for the organization including direct reports and matrix reports
.Demonstrate exceptional people leadership and communication skills to develop their team and influence cross functionally.
.Support SEA (Schedule of Executive Approvals) / Standard Price Management (PROS) and deal desk tools deployment globally in addition to global pricing analytics
.Drive and report monthly Price performance on Value, Transactional, Pass-Thru and OEM price initiatives
.Implement, track & report schedule of executive approval, discount management, price waterfall analysis and target price metrics by product lines / customers
.Support annual catalog price evaluation process and contract escalations
.Develop and maintain Transfer Price and Customer List Price in multiple ERP systems
.Develop and implement pricing analytics, tools, and expertise
.Ensure consistent reporting and communication of pricing strategy, deployments and progress globally

You Must Have
.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, or Business
.8+ years of commercial or finance experience
.3+ years of experience successfully leading teams

.Understanding ERPs/ Data systems
.Price management tools experience preferred: PROS, Deal Desk, Tableau based tools
.Demonstrated experience and understanding linking price and business strategy
.Experience working with teams across multiple sites/time zones ability to develop effective working relationships and highly responsive
.Strong analytical skills with ability to manage large amounts of data, use of MS-Excel, Siebel databases, SAP and Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Objects (BO)
.Proactive in identifying issues and ownership to resolve them
.Strong self-starter who is able to manage tasks with little guidance
