Job Responsibilities

Role Summary

The APAC People Analytics & Governance Lead is pivotal in shaping and driving the regional HR data strategy, including the architecture, governance, and HR metrics reporting infrastructure across 14 countries. This role reporting to the Head of HR Operations and transformation will also be setting up the People Analytics Hub for the region and support HR risk, compliance, and controls metrics to meet both business and regulatory standards.

People Analytics Hub Leadership

  • Build and lead a regional HR People Analytics Hub to deliver insights and decision support across the APAC region.
  • Partner with country HR teams and business stakeholders to standardize and streamline data reporting and analytics.
  • Drive the use of analytics to inform strategic workforce planning, talent management, DEI, attrition, and employee engagement.
  • Develop standard dashboards for reference and use in countries and by HR

Data Architecture & Governance


  • Design and implement robust HR data architecture to support scalable analytics across 14 APAC countries.
  • Define and enforce data standards, quality frameworks, and common taxonomies across regional HR systems.
  • Ensure alignment with global data governance frameworks while tailoring to local regulatory requirements.

Risk & Controls Governance


  • Maintain governance for HR risk and controls metrics tracking, (Key risk indicators) including operational and compliance risks.
  • Conduct regular data audits, data validation exercises, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
  • Act as the liaison between HR, compliance, planning and legal teams to manage data privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory obligations.

Tools, Technology & Reporting


  • Collaborate with IT and HRIS teams on the deployment and integration of analytics platforms (e.g., Success factors, Power BI, Qualtrics, Anaplan, Tableau).
  • Drive automation of HR dashboards and self-service reporting capabilities across the region.
  • Identify and implement analytics use cases to drive business value and HR effectiveness.

Qualifications


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Around 10 years of experience in HR analytics, data governance, or HR risk management, preferably in the banking or financial services sector and or across APAC.
  • Proven track record of managing regional analytics initiatives across complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Knowledge of HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors), data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Anaplan, Tableau), and data governance frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance, data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, PDPA), and risk frameworks within financial services.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills


  • Experience working in an HR CoE or Center of Analytics Excellence.
  • Familiarity with APAC-specific labor and data privacy regulations.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Familiarity with financial services regulations.
