Location - Open ( Bangalore/ Goa/ Gurgaon/ Mumbai)

Overview:

We are a leading logistics company seeking a dynamic and experienced candidate for our Auction House division. This role is pivotal in onboarding vendors and efficiently clearing out available stock at our warehouses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auction management, vendor relations, and inventory clearance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Onboarding:
  • Identify and onboard new vendors to participate in our auction platform.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
  • Ensure all vendors comply with company policies and standards.

  • Auction Management:
  • Plan, organize, and oversee auction events to ensure successful sales.
  • Develop auction strategies to maximize stock clearance and revenue.
  • Monitor auction activities and provide timely reports on performance and outcomes.

  • Inventory Clearance:

  • Assess available stock in warehouses and prioritize items for auction.
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely listing of items for auction.
  • Implement effective strategies to clear out stock efficiently while maximizing value.

  • Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Conduct market research to understand demand trends and set competitive auction prices.
  • Develop marketing and promotional plans to attract buyers and increase auction participation.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve auction processes.

  • Reporting and Compliance:

  • Ensure all auction activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports on auction outcomes, vendor performance, and inventory status.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on auction data and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in auction management, vendor relations, or inventory management, preferably in the logistics or e-commerce sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing auctions and clearing out inventory.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
