What You'll Do
- Technical owner: Has decision authority to define technical direction of product. Lead and drive execution of the product.
- Collaborate with all the other tracks in a program for delivering on success of the product to the vision objectives.
- Drive design verification at Lam through alpha testing phase and validation at customer sites.
- Build trust with customers by setting expectations of performance, execution on demos and communicating regularly on progress to objectives.
- Ensure that appropriate design verification is performed that include process FMEA's to understand risks and defining mitigations, de-risking failure modes early in the development cycle.
- Drive technology development efficiencies by extensive and appropriate use of modeling and simulation first in the program to guide design decisions.
- Adopt equipment intelligence capabilities and features to understand and rectify equipment performance challenges.
- Drive building of test stands as appropriate to understand limitations of the equipment -define the process window early and make sure that it is large enough.
- Ensure that adequate resources are available for success of program people, equipment, metrology
- Serve as partner for Lead Systems engineer in the PDR process.
Who We're Looking For
- Experience: 10+ years in semiconductor or semiconductor equipment development.
- Familiarity with deposition and etch equipment.
- Expertise in vacuum process chambers.
- Expertise in use of DOE methods to develop processes.
- Ability to use of modeling and simulation to guide process development.
- Ability to lead technology teams and influence stakeholders in other organizations.
- Collaborate with on-site and remote technology teams for development using labs worldwide

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
