We are enhancing our digital signage network and seek an expert Technical Lead to architect, deploy, and drive its evolution. This is a pivotal role where you will hold complete technical ownership, responsible for both new installations and upgrading existing systems. A key outcome of this project is to empower our in-house team with the skills needed for independent, day-to-day operations.
Your Mission:
As the single point of technical ownership, you will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both high-level architectural vision and a focus on practical implementation and knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, Install & Upgrade: Lead the architecture of our network, perform new Xibo CMS installations, and upgrade existing deployments to ensure a scalable, enterprise-grade foundation.
- Lead Custom Development: Oversee and project-manage a freelance .NET developer building a custom Android application with advertising and Picture-in-Picture (PiP) functionality.
- Define Integration: Establish a clear and well-documented API contract between the Xibo CMS and the custom Android app.
- Empower the Team: Actively train and mentor our in-house staff on all aspects of the system. Your goal is to make the team fully self-sufficient in the day-to-day running, maintenance, and future growth of the network.
- Ensure Quality: Act as the ultimate gatekeeper for technical quality, ensuring the end-to-end solution is robust, secure, and performant.

We need a true subject matter expert who is not only a skilled architect but also an effective teacher and mentor.
Essential Experience:
- Deep expertise in Xibo: Demonstrable experience architecting, installing, upgrading, and managing Xibo digital signage networks is a mandatory requirement.
- (or) Transferable CMS Expertise: Alternatively, extensive experience with a closely comparable, enterprise-level digital signage CMS.
- Solution Architecture: Proven ability to design end-to-end technical solutions for complex projects.
- Technical Mentorship: A strong track record of training technical teams and creating comprehensive documentation and runbooks.
- Project Leadership: Experience managing technical resources (including freelancers) and driving project timelines.
