Relationship Manager - Mutual Funds

At FundsIndia, we're looking for sharp, financially-literate individuals who can hold a meaningful conversations about growing investments via Mutual Funds. You'll work with real customers at the beginning of their wealth-building journey, help them understand mutual fund investing, and guide them into making their first investment with us.
About FundsIndia
FundsIndia is an 18-year old, SEBI and AMFI registered wealthtech platform, trusted by lakhs of investors across the country. We hand-pick the right mutual fund schemes for our investors and our curated portfolio has consistently outperformed benchmark returns by 3–4%. Every customer is assigned a dedicated Relationship Manager (that's you) to guide them through their investment journey — from their very first call to their first SIP and beyond.
What You'll Do
Financial awareness and guidance
- Engage new leads through outbound calling - understanding their requirements, goals, and risk appetite.
- Educate customers on the fundamentals of mutual fund investing: SIPs, lump sum, asset classes, risk profiles, and why FundsIndia's curated approach works.
- Build genuine relationships nurturing leads across multiple touchpoints until they're confident and ready to invest.
- Be the customer's go-to person for any questions during their onboarding journey.
Sales & Conversion
- Consistently achieve monthly sales, calling and talktime targets and contribute to the team's revenue goals.
- Adhere to quality standards on every call: clear communication, accurate information, and a customer experience that reflects well on the FundsIndia brand.
- Develop, track and execute a personal sales plan each week - know your numbers, own your pipeline, and manage your time to maximize customer reach.
- Develop in-depth, working knowledge of FundsIndia's fund selection, platform features, and investment products to make relevant, personalized recommendations
What We're Looking For
Experience
- 1–3 years in inside sales, telesales, or relationship management - ideally in mutual funds, insurance, banking, or any financial services.
- Demonstrated track record of hitting sales targets in a calling-based role.
- Freshers with exceptional communication skills and a genuine passion for finance will also be considered.
Skills & Traits
- Excellent spoken English and Hindi (a neutral, clear accent matters on calls).
- Numerically comfortable with returns, percentages, SIP calculators, and portfolio math.
- Coachable, process-oriented, and able to perform consistently in a structured, KPI-driven environment.
- Self-motivated with a genuine hunger to earn - you see targets as opportunity, not pressure.
Qualifications
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
- NISM Series V-A Mutual Fund Distributors certification is strongly preferred. If you don't hold it yet, you'll need to complete it before you begin calling customers — we'll support you through the process.
